An Early Christmas Present

This weekend we went to Kingman to visit with Bryant's family and exchange Christmas gifts with them. While there we saw some Shih-Tzu puppies that were for sale and ended up buying one for our boys for Christmas. We were going to wait until Christmas morning to give it to them, but decided it would be too difficult to travel with it (my brother-in-law followed us home so the puppy would have ridden with him) and not have our kids see it, so we gave it to them yesterday before we left. They were so excited and they love him to death. He also loves them and follows them everywhere. Last night was his first night with us and he did SO good. He really is a great dog. I didn't want a dog and Bryant wanted a big dog, so this was our compromise! haha.

Now we just need a name for him. We can't all decide on one name that we all like...hmmmm...maybe I'll see if I can start a poll on here and you all can help me decide!!! Merry Christmas everyone! We love you all.

My Christmas Present!

This year as party of the Black Friday deals Bryant and I found a new 9' Christmas tree. I was so excited to get a tree that actually looks like it fits in our living room! Well, my mom told me after I bought it not to decorate it, that that was what she was going to give me for Christmas was, all new decorations and come decorate it for me! So she came this weekend and the tree is now done! Here are some pictures of the finished project! She did an incredible job! This one is at night with the lights on.
This one is during the day with the lights off.
It is so beautiful I don't want to take it down after Christmas! I will definitely be waiting until after New Year's to take down my decorations! Let me know what you think!

Scholar Athlete Banquet

Okay so this is my THIRD post in a week...somebody stop me!!! haha...but seriously this is a record for me!
A few days ago the Chandler Youth Football League had their Scholar Athlete Banquet. This was a banquet to honor all the football players who maintained at least a "B" average in school last year. I am proud to say that both Chandler and Kayden were able to attend. It was held at the Ocotillo Golf Clubhouse and they served brunch (well, really just danishes, bagels and OJ, but they called it brunch). Anyway, after everyone ate they acknowledged each of the kids individually and gave them a "CYF" plin. They also had a few speakers come and one of them was Eric Swan who used to play for the Arizona Cardinals. Now, I'm not much of a Cardinal's follower but I guess he played for them for almost 10 years and is trying to make a comeback. The kids were all excited to get to meet him. The banquet was a lot of fun and I am so proud of both of my boys! Here is a picture of the boys with Eric Swan.

~HaPpY bIrThDaY tO hUnTeR~

Today Hunter had his 4th Birthday! It started out with him going to "school" and getting to take cookies and Capri Suns for all of his "friends" in his class. He was so excited about that! Because it was his birthday he got to be the special helper in class and got to hold the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance! He was SO proud of that.
Later that afternoon his Uncle Jeramy and Aunt Erin came over to bring him a present. It's funny because I got him a "Cars" Lightning McQueen cake, wrapping paper and toys for his birthday and Jeramy and Erin had no clue about that, yet the gifts they gave him were also Lightning McQueen.
This is a picture of him showing off the presents they gave him. They also gave him Pop Rocks and we were all quite entertained watching him eat those for the first time (of course those were long gone by the time I took the picture).
Finally we took the boys over to Peter Piper Pizza and let them play for a while and ate dinner.
We came home and FINALLY got to eat the Lightning McQueen cake he's been dying to dive into. He also decided at the grocery store today that he didn't want ice cream with his cake he wanted ice cream sandwiches, so he got those instead.
He opened presents and is now having a great time playing with them all.
Thanks to all who wished him a Happy Birthday! He was especially excited to get an email from his Aunt Teesha and Uncle Joel all the way from Australia!

My Baby's First Day of Preschool!

So today Hunter went to preschool for the first time!! It is a preschool called Apples to Zebras. He was so excited, as we pulled up in the parking lot and I turn off the car to get out he says, "All right bye mom". I was like, "I'm coming in with you for a minute" and he's like "oh do you have to pay for me to go?". Haha... but he loved it and they made the cutest craft there today.

I got some Christmas wrapping done while he was there so that was nice too! He only goes for 2 hours, but from now until Christmas break he goes M-Th, then starting after the new year he goes M-W-F for 2 hours each day. I think he is really going to love it. He is getting really bored at home lately with the boys in school all day, so this is so fun for him.
His birthday is Wednesday and he will be 4!! I can't believe how fast time flies!

RETRACTION!!!

haha...So anyone that just saw my previous post that I have now deleted, I just received this email:

Dear Rattler Families,

On behalf of the Jr. Pee Wee Rattler Coaching staff, we have decided to decline the wildcard position to go to Nationals. Though it is a great honor we have made this decision based on the fact that many players will not be able to attend as well as many of the coaches. After much strategizing we have determined that it will be extremely difficult to execute a competitive game and keep our children safe.
We appreciate all your support and feel we have much to be proud of with an amazing winning season.

SOOOOO....we will NOT be going to Florida! I can't say I'm completely disappointed, as now I won't miss Hunter's first day of preschool and his birthday. Not to mention the fact that I won't have to overdose on sleeping meds to make it through the flight! I'll save that for my flight to Australia!!:)

I will take some pictures tomorrow at Thanksgiving and have a new post with pictures after Thanksgiving! I am so excited 'cause my baby (all right he's not mine, but I wish he was) will be here tonight (Beau)! Him, Michael and Brigette are staying with me for the weekend...I can't wait!

I've Been Tagged Too!!!

I was tagged by Brittany (sorry it took so long, I seriously can't think of 6 interesting unknown things about me)...

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Hopefully there is something new you never knew about me!

1. On my 16th birthday I went to our neighbors house and Donny Osmond was there. It was one of the first times I had met him so I was SO star-struck! So we're all outside talking and all of the sudden Donny came running at me and threw me in the swimming pool. Now keep in mind I was fully dressed and had on BRAND NEW leather sandals! But, how could I be mad...That night at my birthday party he gave me one of his CD's that he had written "All washed up at 16" on the front of! I still have it to this day!

2. When I had Chandler (my 1st) something went REALLY wrong with my epidural and it numbed me from the chest down. My heart all but stopped and when I woke up I was surrounded by nurses and doctors! I spent the remaining 5 or 6 hours throwing up all the medication they had given me to bring me back to "life" and running a fever until he was finally born. (Can you believe I still had two more?)

3. I LOVE sports!!! I love to play & watch sports. Although I don't play much anymore I used to play a lot and LOVED it (back me up here Lacy...you were there). I love watching the Diamondbacks, ASU, and mostly the Phoenix Suns! Funny thing is though, I would rather watch my brothers, my kids or my dad play than any professional game.

4. I had such a great wedding proposal! The day Bryant proposed he sent me a dozen roses at work that told me to meet him in the temple (St. George) visitor's center. So after work I go there and the sister missionaries at the desk ask me my name and I tell them, and they said, "Oh he called and said he was going to be late, but he wanted you to have this" and they pulled out another dozen roses and a card. They told me he wanted me to meet him in the gazebo outside. So as I'm walking to the gazebo I'm reading the card. I get to the gazebo and he was there waiting for me with another dozen roses (can you guess that I really love roses?). So he of course starts acting like nothing's up and says I have something for you (so now I'm thinking oh man, he really is going to propose)...and he pulls out some mint chocolate truffles (another one of my favorites). So after a lot more stalling he finally says, oh I got you this too (he had the ring hidden in the rafters of the gazebo). I was so happy and couldn't stop crying! I should also mention that he had just had back surgery and wasn't allowed to ride in a car, so he walked like 5 or 6 miles (at least)to get to the temple!

5. "I hated high school. I can lie and say it was so much fun, but that would be a lie. I really was glad it ended and never would want to do it again. I loved graduating and had so much more fun after high school." Okay so that is what Brittany wrote and I'm leaving it because I feel the EXACT same way! I was friends with my friends away from school (and many of them I didn't go to school with) so I HATED high school! I haven't looked back since graduation day!

6. Each of my boys is named after somebody in my family! Chandler's middle name is Dwayne (same as Bryant, my dad and my brother David), Kayden's middle name is Allen (same as my father-in-law and my brother Brian), and Hunter's middle name is Ryan (same as my brother Michael). I didn't have enough kids to get to Jeramy, or any girls to get to Teesha...but I love that each of them has something "special" about their name!

Now I tag Tiffany (I waited so long I only have 1 person to tag)!

Halloween!

So we made it through another Halloween! I must admit that I'm not a HUGE Halloween fan...I know I know that's a terrible thing to say as a mother, but it's true. Costumes now days are TOO expensive, they only wear them for maybe 2 hours, and then there are all those cany wrappers all over the house! It may also be because I am the biggest chicken EVER and hate to be scared or scary things in general. But, as much as I dislike Halloween, my kids love it! This year we had a nice break (in cost) because my mom brought her trunk of Halloween costumes down the last time she came and the boys were able to find costumes out of that! Actually Chandler was going to be a caveman, but it didn't quite come together the way we wanted, so he went to Plan B which was a football player! Kayden was a jailbird (a costume that my dad wore to a party once...needless to say there was some major rolling of the pants involved) and Hunter was a dinosaur (a costume that my brother Jeramy wore I think he said in like 3rd or 4th grade...hahaha it's okay Jer I still love ya even though you used to be so small). We walked around our neighborhood and surprisingly there were TONS of people passing out candy, and lots of people on the streets! It was fun to meet new neighbors...In fact, two different neighbors joined us, with their kids, to walk around. It ended up being a really fun time. We were done by about 7:00, so that was nice. Here are few pictures of the boys from last night. Of course, when I want the best pictures, my camera has a mind of it's own and some of them are blurry, so sorry for that! Also, Hunter's makeup looked a lot better in person...he looks kind of sickly in the pictures haha! You can't see his tail too good, but in the picture with all of them he is holding it so he could sit down...
Also, the pumpkins they are standing next to are the ones they did themselves (Hunter had a "little" help from Bryant) but the other two did their own!

Catching Up!

WOW! I have been REALLY bad at posting! Things have been so busy lately! Football is almost over...Kayden's last game is Saturday. Chandler's team is still in the playoffs. If they win this Saturday they play on the 10th for the Regional Championship game, then we will be going to Tucson for the State Championships! And you won't believe it, but if they win at the State Championship they go to ORLANDO, FLORIDA for the National Championship! I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there! Also a couple of weeks ago Chandler's team also rented some stretch limos to take the boys to their game in...so that's where these pictures come from. These kids now days...so spoiled!

Work has been good for me. I stay pretty busy typing in the mornings and then again in the afternoons, but then I am done by the time the boys get home from school. Hunter is pretty good about keeping himself busy while I type. Although I might add that that "busy" isn't always good things haha! Yesterday he went into the garage to play with his "moon sand" and found a can of blue spray paint and let's just say that we have a really smelly, really blue section of our garage now!

Even though I am not posting as often as I should be, I AM reading everyone's blogs and keeping up to date with you all! Thanks for being better bloggers than me!

What A Day!!!

Today was another day of football! We were done early today though, because Chandler & Kayden played at the same time. Bryant & Hunter took Chandler to his game and they played a tough one and won 6-0.
Kayden's game was away at Paradise Valley High School. His coaches had told us that they wanted all the kids to ride together in a school bus, so we all met at 7:15am.. to our surprise the "school bus" was actually.....Two Strech Hummer Limo's!!!!

The coaches had decided that since the boys had been playing so great (undefeated) that they would treat them to an away game...pro ball style! You should have seen the kids! They were in absolute heaven! One of the coaches brought McDonald's for all of them, so they sat in the parking lot and ate and then took off for their game. It was so sweet to watch the limo's pull up to the field and see our boys get out! Even the other team was taking pictures of them!
Then when we get out to the football field...it is a BRAND NEW astro-turf field. Seriously it was like a pro football field. I guess this high school just spent over a million dollars on it! Then to top it all off, they took a list of all the players and their numbers and had an announcer!!! I'm telling you...the kids seriously had one incredible day! Oh...and by the way...they won 20-6!!!

I GOT A JOB!!!!!!

So, last week I told Bryant that I had been thinking about trying to get an at-home job! So I called Transcription Exress and went through an over-the-phone preliminary screening. They called me on Monday and said that I had passed the screeing and wanted me to come in Thursday (yesterday) for an interview/tests. So I went in yesterday and took a typing test, a spelling test and a homonym test. In order to pass you have to type at least 60wpm with 90% accuracy, get at least 27 of the 33 misused homonyms and get 10/12 on the spelling test. I was so darn nervous that I was SURE I failed the typing test! My hands were shaking so bad that afterwards, I could barely even write to take my homonym test. Not only that, they usually only have a few people show up for the interview and there were 20 of us there yesterday!!! They were going to take the top 2 over-all scores and put those two people in a training starting this coming Monday, and then the next four scores in a training the following week. Anyway, so my hopes weren't very high when I left. I was so frustrated because I can type fast and I knew that I had hit the wrong key and gone back to fix it about a million times because my dang hands failed me.
Anyway, at about 4pm or so yesterday afternoon, they called me and said that I typed 68wpm at 97.7% accuracy, scored 11/12 on my spelling test, and got 29/33 homonyms correct (pretty good considering I only found 29 of them). She then asked if I could start training this coming Monday! I almost fell on the floor! I couldn't believe that I was in the top 2. Especially with only typing 68wpm. That is a terrible time, but I guess it was enough to get me through! I was so excited!
So wish me luck with training next week! I still have to find someone to watch my boys M-W because the training runs from 8:30am to 2:30pm and of course Chandler & Kayden are out of school! But I'm sure that will work out fine...just keep your fingers crossed for me that I will catch on and not make them sorry they chose me!

Happy October!!

I am so excited that it is October!!! October, to me, is the beginning of the holiday season! My kids and I are getting excited for Halloween to come, then before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving, and then Christmas!! YEAH!! I love this time of year! Sugar cookies have become a big part of our Halloween and Christmas traditions and I can't wait to get started!!! My kids already know what they are going to be for Halloween! I think this is the earliest that they have ever known! Chandler is going to be a caveman, Kayden is going to be a prisoner and Hunter is going to be a dinosaur!

Saturday Chandler & Kayden both had football games again (of course). They both WON again! Chandler's team won by a lot...I can't remember the score. Kayden's game was a close one though, they only won 20-16. It was a fun game! Kayden did great! Thank you to everyone who came to support them on Saturday! It was fun to have so many people there to watch. I actually remembered to take pictures at Chandler's game, but because I am on the sidelines with the team at Kayden's game it makes it harder to take pictures. So I posted pictures from Chandler's game and next week I will post pictures from Kayden's!
The blogs are so quiet with everyone gone to California! Hope you guys are having a good time and I can't wait to read all about your trip and see all your pictures!

Another winning Saturday!!

Chandler and Kayden both won again in their football games this weekend! Kayden's team won 38-13 and Chandler's team won 35-0. They both had a good time and played great! We stayed after Chandler's game and watched Brooks and Tres' game! It was so fun to get to see everyone else that came to watch too. It was like a "mini" Tarwater reunion! hahah...That is the way it has always been through the years...family supporting family. So fun!! And it was a great day to be at the football field. It stayed cloudy most of the day, with a breeze. Bryant, the boys and I were at the field for 8 hours!!! Wow!! Of course, I forgot my camera AGAIN!!! AAAHHH...My mom is coming this weekend for the games, so hopefully she will help me remember to take my camera and get some pictures!! Oh by the way, if any of you were planning to come to Kayden's game at 8am, DON'T!!! It was moved to 2pm. So Chandler plays at 10am and Kayden at 2pm. Let's pray for another cool day!

Our Busy Days!!!!

Wow! I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted! Thank you to everyone who voted for Hunter! The voting ends next Tuesday, and then I'm not sure what happens after that!
So things have been pretty busy for us. Football is going great! The boys both won again this last Saturday by pretty good margins! It is so fun to watch them. Beau and Brigette came to Chandler's game to cheer him on. It was really hot that day, and grandpa Darwin found Beau the perfect spot to cool down!

We are excited for our games tomorrow!
Hunter and I have kept busy playing with Beau each day. He helps me feed him:

From the mess he made, you wouldn't believe that I have fed three babies baby food before him! I thought I was a pro, but Beau humbled me very quickly! In my defense though, it was a "chunky" food that he had never eaten before! Hahahaha!!!
The other day Brigette brought Beau over to drop him off for the day and Hunter started "reading" him a book. Brigette and I couldn't believe how still he sat and how intently he listened to Hunter's story-telling. It was soooo cute. They played "footsies" the whole time he read!

I apologize for Hunter's attire, but he had just gotten out of bed!
Today Beau has been in a really good mood! He has been laughing and playing with Hunter all day! When I took Beau's shirt off so he could eat it got "stuck" on his head and Hunter thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen! Of course, I thought it was the cutest thing I've ever seen!

After all that fun, Beau couldn't take much more, so after he was fed & bathed he gave out on us!

And I don't think Hunter is very far behind him.

He was almost asleep, but you know Hunter, he can't take a picture without a big, cheese grin on his face. One more episode of Spongebob and I think he'll be down for the count!
So, that is the way we spend our days...it will be very quiet around here after next week when we don't have Beau to play with anymore! I better get busy trying to come up with activities to keep Hunter busy!!! Teesh-hope you enjoy the pictures :0)

To My Extended Family!!

So it has been a couple of weeks since I have been to Granny's house for dinner (until last night). While laying in bed last night I realized how grateful I am to have such an awesome family. Granny & Pop started the AWESOME tradition of Sunday dinners a LONG time ago. I still remember it being the highlight of my Sunday when I was a little kid, and when we moved to Utah I remember crying so hard because I was going to miss those dinners more than anything else. Now it is so fun for me to watch my kids get so excited about going to Granny's for dinner!
As I was thinking about our family last night, I realized that it is truly rare to have such a big group of people that unconditionally love each other the way our family does. And who honestly like to be around each other. I can't think of any other family that I know of that is this way. Our family is full of honest, loyal, non-judgemental, trustworthy, loving, caring people. I am proud to say I am a part of it.
I can't imagine what it must be like to not have a family to fall back on in times of need. I know that my family is there for me whenever I need a soft place to fall and it is such a great feeling. Knowing that families are forever, I am comforted that I will never be alone. I am so blessed to have you all!
I may not tell you each individually, but I am truly grateful to each of you for just being a part of my extended family. You impact my life by just the simplest things; a smile, a hug, a laugh, a hello. Don't ever think you don't matter to me because each of you do. And I love you all. Nothing makes me happier than seeing all of us going through this life happy and healthy, getting married, having kids, grandkids, etc. and enjoying it with each other!
Thank You!

FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!!!

Yesterday Chandler & Kayden had their first tackle football games of the season! Kayden plays for the Chandler Cougars and Chandler plays for the Chandler Rattlers! Kayden's team won 41-6 and Chandler's team won 33-0. It was a great day of football. The boys played great and their teams look really good this year! It is so exciting. My cousin's Brooks, Tres, Kobe & Clayton all play in the same league (on different teams) and they ALL won yesterday too!

Next week my boys have away games, so we will be traveling all the way up to Cave Creek for Kayden's game and Chandler plays on the Indian Reservation in Sacatone. It's hard to believe they travel so far, being so young. But it is fun anyway! Well, except that we have to be at Kayden's game by 6:30am and it is like an hour drive, so we are going to have to be up by 5am. I am so NOT a morning person! But it is worth it!

We will miss you Grandma Carr!! We Love You!!

Today has been a hard day for our family. Bryant's grandma that lives in Kingman passed away this afternoon. She was such a sweet lady and I will miss her so much. It was really tough telling the boys. Chandler took it pretty hard and spent almost an hour in his room crying. Kayden cried for a bit, but then was okay. Hunter, of course, doesn't understand what it means, but he was sad to see all of us crying. Of course we all know we will see her again and that her body is whole again, but it is so hard to say goodbye. She has been sick for several months now and was bedridden. So I told my boys that great grandma was in heaven running around and cooking up some good Italian meals for everyone in heaven. That made them smile. She loved to cook and it was so hard for her to be bedridden. Every time I saw her she would say "I just want to get up and cook something for everyone". I know she has a special place in heaven, just for her, where she will be happy and pain free. Life will not be the same without her, but we will always cherish the memories we have with her.

Otherwise, things are crazy busy around here as usual. I feel like was do the same thing, day after day and I haven't been able to just stop and take a breath. I cannot believe the end of the month is next week! I have no idea where the month of August went! Chandler and Kayden are doing great in football. They are both really enjoying it. There games start on the 8th of September and they are really looking forward to that. They have been keeping up really well with school, homework and football. It is a lot for boys their age, but the are handling it good.

Sometimes I wish life wouldn't pass by so fast. Hunter is getting so big and it seems every day he has something new he can do himself! Now he can buckle his own carseat! He is so proud of himself, but it makes me sad that he is slowly getting to the age where he won't need his mom to do everything for him. He's my baby! (and NO I'm not having another one ;o]). I guess I will be the mom crying at the kindergarden door in a couple of years. I never thought that would be me, but if I'm already sad about the carseat, I can only imagine what the first day of kindergarden will be like!!

So I am looking forward to the long weekend (next weekend). I am hoping it will be a time we can just sit back, relax and smell the roses for at least a couple days! Maybe I will even get time to post another blog, and not go WEEKS in between! We'll see what it brings!

I Miss My Sister Already!!!

And she hasn't even left the United States yet. Her and her new in-laws are in California for 2 more days before they catch their flight to Australia. She had to give her phone to my mom though, so I have no way of getting a hold of her. I guess I should get used to it though, since it will probably be a long time before I actually get to hear her voice again. We can talk through email and IM, and of course through our blogs, which by the way I told her she has to update EVERY DAY (including pictures). I will just miss being able to hear her voice. They left for California on Tuesday and believe it or not, I actually hardly cried when they left. Part of the reason is because I am telling myself that either she will come here, or I will go there soon and partly because I think I am in denial of how really far away she will be. Even though I will miss her, I am really excited for her too. Joel's family are some of the best people I have ever met and I will really miss getting to see all of them also. We had so much fun just hanging out with them while they were here. I know they will take good care of her and she is so happy with Joel that I know they will be fine.

It seems these last fews days I am just in a fog. I'm sure most of it is the emotional times I have had over the last few weeks, plus everything I just talked about with Teesha. Then Chandler & Kayden started football on Monday, so we are at the football field from 5:45-8:45pm Monday through Friday!! It has thrown a huge curve in our normal schedule. The boys just eat a snack before football, so they don't get sick, so that means that we are eating dinner at 9:00pm and they aren't getting to bed until at least 9:30pm. I am the business manager for Kayden's team, so I am in charge of getting all the information put together that the league requires for each player (we have 30 on our team) and keeping our team book. It is very time consuming. Then, the league asked me to be a field monitor, so I have the responsibility of inspecting all of the team books for the teams at our field (that is 8 teams) plus dealing with any problems that may come up at the field. There are days I feel I am in way over my head. Poor Hunter, he probably wonders where his mom is every night (even though he is at the field he is with Bryant and I am running around like a crazy lady). I'm not complaining because I love doing things for my boys and the things they are involved in, but it gets overwhelming sometimes. One of the fun things about it is that my Uncles Steve & Darin coach the team right next to us, along with my dad...so it is soooo good to get to see my dad every night and give him a big hug!

So life is good. I get to see baby Beau every day and spend the day with him. He is such a sweetheart. I love everything about that sweet baby.

Sorry I haven't posted as often as I would like. I am hoping we will settle into this new schedule and I will have more time to think. It is actually good therapy, wouldn't you agree???

Happy Birthday to my dad!

Yesterday was a pretty normal day. Hunter, Beau and I did our normal daily routine. The only thing I did different, was spent 5 hours working on a DVD for my dad for his birthday. I didn't ever quite get it all the way done...had trouble trying to pick songs. Anyone have any ideas for a song to put with pictures of my dad growing up? They start as a baby and end with him as an adult. Then I have a section with pictures of him with his grandkids and him with his kids and I can't think of a good song to go there either. I had a really bad headache (migraine) yesterday, so my creative juices were DEFINITELY NOT flowing. So if you have any song ideas PLEASE let me know. I would still like to finish the DVD to be able to give to him Sunday night at Granny's. It was great to see all my family/friends last night at the party for my dad. (I missed you Jeramy and Erin). Sheri Hakes and her son Reggie were there and it was really good to see them.

My mom and Brent are coming to stay with me tonight...so I have a lot to do before they get here. Brent will fly home Friday and my mom will be staying for a week or so. That will be fun to just have time to hang out. We always seem to be so busy when she comes. She is staying to be able to spend as much time with Teesha as she can before she leaves for Australia. It's wierd because it hasn't really hit me yet that she is leaving. I suppose it won't until I am telling her goodbye....not a day I look forward to. Although I am happy for Teesha and excited for her new life there. I guess I better start saving up for our family to take a trip to Australia!!

I guess I better get busy...Hunter likes to make messes faster than I can clean them, so I will try to get a step ahead!

Which Disney princess are you? I am....

So I did the test from Brianne's post and here are my results...

Which Disney Princess Are You?

You are Belle. You are strong, deep, and you are not a slave to petty superficial things. You are independent and allow yourself to see inner beauty without sacrificing your values. You are almost too good of a person.

Another Rainy Day....

So it is another rainy monsoon day in Arizona. I love the thunderstorms this time of year. They are such a nice break from the burning sun!

Today was a busy day trying to get things back in order from being in St. George, Utah for my little sister, Teesha's wedding. It was so beautiful and she was the prettiest bride I've ever seen! She had her ceremony at the lake at sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was great to see my siblings and their spouses for a couple days! Jeramy & Erin came in from San Diego and David & Savanna from Alabama! I was so excited to see them all.

Chandler and Kayden are both playing tackle football this year. The season starts Monday (the 6th). I am the business manager for Kayden's team, so I am staying pretty busy trying to collect all the things I need from all the other parents of the players. I am excited for the season to get started. This will be Kayden's first year playing and Chandler's second. They are both really excited.

Hunter kept me busy today (as usual) getting into everything he possibly can. He unraveled 2 rolls of toilet paper, broke the vase my flower arrangement (that was in my entryway) was in, and ate a whole pack of gum all in one day. I think he is gets a little jealous when Beau is here and does things to get my attention! Boy does he succeed! I thought the picture of him and Beau was appropriate for today's blog...this picture was taken last week!

Tomorrow is my dad's 50th birthday! I can't believe he is 50! I love him so much and can't wait to give him a big hug for his birthday!

Thursday is Teesha's reception, so we will have a houseful come Wednesday, and I can't wait!

New To Blogging!

Ok...so this is my first shot at blogging. Teesha told me to set one up, so I'm giving it a try. I was surprised to see so many of my family already doing this. I will start with the actual "daily" blogging later, I just wanted to see if I could actually post something and include a picture!
